Stephen Barry is a lecturer in the Master’s in Applied Data Science program at the University of Chicago, where he focuses on teaching Data Engineering and a Capstone course on Data Science & AI for Robotics. In addition to his academic work, Stephen has had a long and successful career in finance and technology. He has held senior roles at various financial institutions, currently serving as the Head of Technology at Savant Wealth Management. His background includes developing enterprise-level data solutions, leading cloud migrations, and leveraging AI to optimize financial services. Stephen Barry holds a Master’s degree in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Iowa.
