Biography

Michelle Argento, Associate Director of Recruitment for the Leadership & Society Initiative, leads efforts to identify and engage accomplished leaders who seek to envision meaningful next chapters. In this role, she fosters connections with prospective Fellows and partner organizations. As she works closely with candidates and affiliates throughout the admissions process, she  welcomes the opportunity to connect at margento@uchicago.edu.

Michelle has worked in Admissions and Enrollment at nearly all stages and intersections of education. She brings a background in recruitment, admissions, and enrollment management for undergraduate, graduate, and lifelong learning programs throughout Chicagoland and the Northeastern region of the United States. Most recently, she served as an enrollment leader for a national workforce development nonprofit, connecting participants with skill training and highly-competitive internships at Fortune 500 companies. She holds an MEd in Higher Education and Educational Leadership from Temple University and a BA in Music Education from Elmhurst University.

When she’s not exploring Chicago with her family, Michelle can be found running the Lakefront Trail, attending classical music concerts, or reading one of the many books in her growing library.
