Biography

Haley Carlson is Director of Events & Partnerships at Crain’s Chicago Business, where she leads strategy, production, and revenue growth for the publication’s events portfolio — including Women of Influence, Newsmakers of the Year, and the newly launched Crain’s Executive Membership — serving Chicago’s executive and business community.

She began her career building the events department at Goldman Sachs. Over the following two decades, she produced landmark experiences across media, entertainment, and public broadcasting — with roles at the Sundance Film Festival, Tribune Publishing, and Chicago Public Media. Her work has spanned high-profile commemorations including the 50th anniversary of Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination for the Kennedy family at Arlington National Cemetery and the bicentennial celebration of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Alongside her events work, Haley is an executive mindset and leadership coach and Founder of HKC, Inc. She trained directly under Bob Proctor until his passing in 2022 and works with senior leaders on performance, paradigm shifts, and sustainable growth. Her coaching methodology is rooted in New Thought philosophy and inside-out transformation — the same principles that anchor the Chicago Leadership Circle.
