Biography
Professor Williams graduated from the University of Chicago with a joint Ph.D. from the Committee on Social Thought and the Department of Philosophy, where he focused mostly on German Idealist philosophy and the relationship between philosophy and literature. He has taught previously in both the Graham School and the Basic Program. He has also taught at Stanford University as a lecturer, and currently teaches at Georgetown University, focusing on subjects such as existentialism and authenticity, as well as ethics and modern conceptions of human agency.
