Biography
Austin Walker has been teaching in the Basic Program since 2018. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago’s Committee on Social Thought, where he wrote on John Henry Newman’s political philosophy. Before that, he studied classical languages and comparative literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also serves as the Director of Campus and Community Programs at the Lumen Christi Institute and is a Scholar-in-Residence there. He and his wife have three young children.
