Biography
A 2024–25 Fellow in the University of Chicago’s Leadership & Society Initiative, Alice Davison focuses her next-chapter work on the role of social connection at the retirement transition — and the critical influence of intermediaries such as employers, financial advisors, and insurers in supporting it.
Alice spent more than four decades at Capital Group, one of the world’s premier investment firms, where she built and led a global talent function focused on recruiting and developing exceptional analysts and investors. Her work shaped recruiting, development, and diversity programs that left lasting marks on a firm now managing more than $3.5 trillion.
In addition to her service on the Graham School Advisory Council, Alice is a Board Member of The Legacy Project; a Board Member of the Senior Center of the Chathams (NJ); a Catalyst for Stanford’s Center on Longevity; a Trustee of the Far Brook School (NJ); and a Director Emeritus of the Mason School of Business Foundation Board at the College of William & Mary (VA).
Alice holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bowdoin College and an MBA with distinction from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. She and her partner, Howard Tomb, live in Summit, New Jersey.
