Speakers and attendees of the biannual NMPS conferences include individuals from publications, digital media, and marketing departments representing an international array of art, science, and history museums. They are joined by academics and professionals from university presses, small publishers, and design firms. The NMPS community also includes sponsors and exhibitors providing paper, printing, photographic expertise, design, writing, editing, packaging, web design, and other services.

As part of the registration process, exhibitors will be asked to choose between the standard, premium, and sponsor options and prompted to select a table location.
