Biography
Jane Kerber is a lawyer with an M.B.A. and a professional background in finance and negotiation strategy. As she winds down her professional career, she has made the Returning Scholars program an academic home for exploring wide-ranging intellectual interests, from the Ancient Near East and linguistics to emerging questions surrounding large language models. She especially values the opportunity for close engagement with UChicago faculty, access to the University’s extraordinary academic resources, and the community she has found among fellow Returning Scholars. For Jane, Returning Scholars has become an essential part of her continuing intellectual journey.
