Readings include: in the seminar, Kierkegaard, Philosophical Fragments, Nietzsche, The Anti-Christ, Berger, The Sacred Canopy, and Simone Weil, Gravity and Grace; in the tutorial, selections from the New Testament, D. H. Lawrence, “The Man Who Died,” Par Lagerkvist, The Sibyl, Kazantzakis, The Last Temptation of Christ, and Shusaku Endo, Silence.
