Biography
Robert Augusto Riva has been practicing and teaching law for more than two decades, and is currently a partner in the Commercial Real Estate Finance Group at Cole Schotz, P.C. in New York City. Prior to law, Robert was an economist in Washington, DC, where he worked for the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, the National Academy of Sciences, and the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee. An alumnus of the College of the University of Chicago and a passionate lifelong learner, Robert was inspired by his experience in the MLA Program to found Telos Educational, a company specializing in legal education programs and related software solutions. Robert resides in New York City with his wife and family.
