Biography
Mark Heaney has a 40 plus year career in delivering essential health services to at-risk persons at home. Mark spent 31 years at Addus Home Care (ADUS) where, from 2009 to 2016, he served as its CEO and Chairman of the Board. Since leaving Addus, Mark has served on the Boards of numerous health related private equity-backed companies. Today, Mark is Chairman of the Board of Acara Home Care based in San Antonio, Texas. Over his career, Mark has served on the boards of Catholic Charities of Chicago, the National Association for HomeCare, DC-based the Medicaid Partnership for Home-Based Care and TradeWinds Services Inc, a large community-based organization serving persons with challenges in northwest Indiana. Mark and his wife live in northwest Indiana where they raised three children and enjoy being with their two grandchildren. In his limited spare time, Mark enjoys exercise, yoga, reading, writing and golf.
