Biography
Emmett Mottl is the Assistant Director of Digital Communications at the Graham School. In this position, he develops email newsletters and supports brand development. He brings to the role eight years of marketing experience from Chicago Humanities, an arts and culture nonprofit dedicated to lifelong learning. During his tenure as Associate Director of Marketing, Emmett developed a new brand identity that centered on their mission of connecting people and ideas to create a more informed, inspired, empathetic, and participatory society through live events across Chicago.
He has significant experience in content development, graphic design, and brand management.
Emmett earned his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is excited to share student stories and highlight the unique opportunities available at the school.
Which Graham course would you most like to take and why?
Emmett would like to take ‘American Masters’ to learn more about the development of musical and cultural identity in the United States.
