Biography

David Williams is an Open Enrollment instructor at the University of Chicago. He holds a B.A. from Kenyon College – a joint degree in Classics and Social Thought. His interests lie at the intersection of ancient Greek poetry and philosophy, with a particular focus on Aristophanes and Plato, comedy and tragedy, and the relationship between ancient and modern intellectual history. He is also interested in historical semantics and conceptual history.
