Biography

I’ve been a practicing Medical Oncologist for over 30 years, most of it in Indiana where I experienced my professional highlight as Director of Medical Oncology in the creation and development of what became a renowned regional cancer program. During those years, I obtained a Master in Medical Management at Carnegie Mellon University. I currently work close to my home at the City of Hope downtown Chicago cancer clinic. I live in the Gold Coast with my wife. We are blessed that both our kids live in Chicago as well. My family is from Buenos Aires, Argentina where I grew up and attended high school and medical school. I live to work hard and play hard. My passions are music (all types), wine, travel, and most of all watching soccer, or as we call it, futbol. In addition to the memories my family and I create every day, I will never forget watching Argentina play in not one, but two soccer World Cup tournaments, 1978 in Buenos Aires and 2014 in Brazil.

As a lifelong learner, I’m delighted that the MLA program has added a formal educational opportunity to my interest in humanities.
