Biography
Carey Dempsey serves as Director of Marketing and Recruitment for the Leadership & Society Initiative. She oversees the development and execution of the marketing strategy to help connect prospective Fellows with the initiative.
Carey has decades of experience in brand marketing in the higher education and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining UChicago, Carey served in marketing leadership roles at Wiley and AllCampus. She has a demonstrated history in developing marketing campaigns that resonate with learners, enabling universities to both attract and retain students throughout their educational journey.

Which Graham course would you most like to take and why?
Carey would like to take part in Writing the Ten-Minute Play. She was very active in her school’s theater program when she was younger and would love to be able to revisit that area from her past through a different lens.
