Biography
Sarah Laughner (she/her) is the Advancement Associate at the Graham School, where she supports the school’s philanthropic initiatives and helps foster a vibrant sense of community among students and staff.
Sarah holds a BA in Political Science and Journalism with a minor in Law, Justice, and Public Policy from Michigan State University. Before joining Graham, she worked on the Development team at ZooTampa, supporting donor engagement and fundraising efforts. As a native Midwesterner, Sarah is thrilled to be back home, contributing to Graham’s mission of lifelong learning alongside its passionate faculty, staff, and students.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys pottery, reading, attending concerts, and exploring new restaurants.

Sarah would love to take “Walking and Writing in Memoir and Essays” to explore how writers use sensory awareness and mindfulness to turn their observations into compelling personal narratives.
