About the Event

Since 1946, the Basic Program of Liberal Education for Adults at the University of Chicago has engaged lifelong learners in reading, discussing, and building community around foundational texts through small, instructor-led groups.

This autumn, you can begin the Basic Program by joining a new cohort either online or in-person.

This info session takes place in-person at our downtown Gleacher Center location (450 Cityfront Plaza Dr, Chicago, IL 60611) at 9:30 a.m.

Learn more about this rigorous, noncredit liberal arts certificate through this information session led by Zoë Eisenman, Director of Academics at the Graham School. We will share more about the student experience in a Basic Program classroom, as well as answer your questions and explain how you can get started.
