Black Women Writing History: Slavery and its Afterlives
This course was available in the past and may be presented again as part of the Open Enrollment curriculum.
This course will explore Black women's perspectives on the history of slavery by reading a transnational selection of autobiography and historical fiction written by African, American, and Caribbean women from the nineteenth century to the present.
