Profile

<p>Sunwoo Lee received her PhD in Egyptology from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago in 2022. Her dissertation examined the meanings of pain in ancient Egyptian literature. She holds an MA in the Humanities from the University of Chicago, and before coming to Chicago, she studied Hebrew Bible and Judaism in Seoul, Korea, where she is originally from.</p>
