Don Phillips is a managing director with Morningstar. He originally joined Morningstar in 1986 as the company’s first mutual fund analyst and soon became editor of its flagship publication, Morningstar Mutual Funds™, establishing the editorial voice for which the company is best known. Investment Advisor magazine named him to its list of the most influential people in the financial planning industry. Don serves as Chair of the Graham Council and is an active student in the School's Basic Program and Open Enrollment.
