Betty Vandenbosch

Director, Adtalem Global Education

Betty Vandenbosch is an experienced leader in education and with more than thirty years of corporate and academic leadership, research and teaching experience.

 Betty is a member of the board of Adtalem Global Education, a leading healthcare educator. She was the chief content officer at Coursera, an online university and corporate course provider and facilitator. Prior to Coursera, Betty was the first chancellor of Purdue University Global. Earlier she held several positions of increasing responsibility at Kaplan University, including provost and president. She has also served in a variety of roles at Case Western University, including associate professor, associate dean of executive education programs and associate dean of external relations. Betty began her career at McKinsey & Company. 

Betty earned a PhD in management information systems, a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s in computer science from Western University. She is an avid cyclist and an advisory board member of Active Transportation Alliance.
