Alec Wang is the founder and President of Tana Investment Group, which specializes in equity and debt investments within the real estate industry. The equity investment portfolio encompasses a diverse range of residential and commercial asset classes across multiple states, while the debt fund, Brenance, provides loans to real estate developers and investors. 

In addition to his professional endeavors, Alec is actively involved in several causes, including renewable energy development, education, and various social and humanitarian issues. He contributes as an investor and advisor to companies and volunteers and donates to many nonprofits and charities. Alec currently serves as a board member for three nonprofits: United Chinese Americans (UCA), SOAR Educational Foundation, and Silicon Valley Leadership Community (SVLC). His support extends to a variety of other organizations, from environmental conservation, cultural exchange to performing arts. 

Alec's diverse personal background spans four continents over a few decades, fostering a wide range of professional and non-professional interests. He has contributed to organizations such as the World Economic Forum and is an active member of think tanks like Horasis. A former nationally ranked athlete and award-winning amateur photographer, Alec enjoys hobbies including fitness, rock climbing, drawing, photography, and reading. He now lives with his growing family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
