Non-Credit Scholarships
Beginning in Winter Quarter 2027, the Graham School will offer a limited number of partial scholarships to support students enrolling in select non-credit courses. Students who are planning to enroll in a Graham School Basic Program, Open Enrollment, or Writer’s Studio course may apply to receive discounted tuition. Anyone who is interested in taking a Graham School non-credit course and for whom the tuition cost poses a barrier is welcome to apply. Please see the award terms below for further details.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed every other month. To be considered, please complete the scholarship application form using the email address you use, or plan to use, to register for courses.
The aim of the scholarship program is to expand access to our community of lifelong learning. Applicants will be evaluated based on each applicant’s self-reported financial data and one short answer prompt: “Why are you interested in taking a Graham School course? What do you hope to gain from this experience?” Applications are scored against a common rubric and reviewed by the Dean of Students Office and program team before awards are finalized.
Applicants are notified of decisions on a bimonthly basis. Due to the volume of applications and limited funding available, we are unable to accommodate all requests. All applicants will receive a decision by email regardless of outcome.
The first deadline for applications for 2027 scholarships is September 11, 2026. If you are planning to take a Graham School course during the upcoming calendar year, we encourage you to apply by the initial review date. Decisions will be released approximately two weeks following each application deadline. If you are granted a tuition discount, you may apply that discount to up to one course per quarter for the full calendar year.

Award Terms
Scholarship awardees are issued a discount code valid for one course per quarter for the duration of the calendar year. Codes may not be shared or transferred. Misuse of an award code results in permanent ineligibility for future scholarship consideration. Reapplication will be required on an annual basis. Discount codes may be applied to standard Graham School Basic Program, Open Enrollment, and Writer’s Studio courses. Discount codes cannot be applied to special programs and events, including travel study programs and residential seminars.
