Graham Circle Gathering

Join us at the St. Regis Residences on the evening of Thursday, April 6^th, for our second annual Graham Circle Gathering. The evening will feature an intimate conversation and reception with Shadi Bartsch-Zimmer, Distinguished Service Professor of Classics and Director of the University of Chicago’s recent venture into uncharted lands, the Institute on the Formation of Knowledge (IFK). Bartsch-Zimmer will talk about her groundbreaking book, Plato Goes to China, in which she argues that proponents of Chinese nationalism have produced very new understandings of the western philosophical classics.
