Immerse Yourself in the Great Books
Explore timeless works of literature, philosophy, history, and social thought.
As we progress through adulthood, initiating new, profound relationships can be challenging. However, staying socially connected is vital to our happiness, wellness, and sense of purpose. The classrooms of the University of Chicago Graham School are fertile ground to cultivate lasting, meaningful connections.
Students come to the Graham School for many reasons, seeking opportunities to pursue deep inquiry into the Great Books, to create positive social impact, or to leave behind a meaningful legacy. In our classrooms, they find a space where they can realize all of these aspirations by engaging in open, respectful dialogue with other members of the community about the topics and texts that are important to them.
Our students meet peers who may have very different professional, educational, and cultural backgrounds, but who share the desire for learning. With options to participate in residential seminars, travel study, and other memorable experiences, our students often form bonds that last the rest of their lives.
